The H1 Series stands out with its unique blend of smooth contours and sharp, distinct angles set against the backdrop of natural warm wood tones. The full textures of the knives highlight the raw elements of professional caliber tools made for creatives. The seamless construction ensures the durability of each knife, while the design allows for a comfortable and natural grip.
Each knife in the H1 Series is forged from high alloy steel sourced from Solingen, Germany, known for its superior quality. The steel, X50CrMoV15, is heat-treated and hardened to 58 +-2 on the Rockwell Hardness Scale, providing excellent wear and stain resistance and edge retention. The handles are crafted from lightweight and highly durable Teak wood, boasting a 1000 Janka Hardness rating.
The H1 Series includes a 10.25-inch serrated knife, an 8-inch chef's knife, and a 3.5-inch paring knife. Each knife is full tang and foundational in function, offering a responsive and refined tactile experience that enhances the user's skills and process. The knives are securely housed in a genuine cow leather knife roll, adding an extra touch of elegance and practicality.
The design of the H1 Series is currently patent pending, with EFS ID #24233570 and Application #29547178. This series is a testament to Cangshan's dedication to creating kitchen tools that are not just functional, but also aesthetically pleasing and inspiring to the creative community.
The H1 Series was awarded the Golden A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award in 2017. This award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
